The Outback Kitters Chuck Series Bar was designed for people who want serious frontal protection without hiding the entire front of their vehicle behind a wall of steel.
It combines an aluminium main body, steel winch cradle and steel mounting system with integrated lighting, rated recovery points, underbar protection and compatibility with the vehicle's factory technology package.
And unlike a lot of bars, we didn't design the bar first and then spend the next six months figuring out where everything else was supposed to go.

We thought about the lot from the beginning.
Building the entire thing from steel would have been easy.
It also would have been bloody heavy.
The main body of the Chuck Bar is manufactured from aluminium, helping keep unnecessary weight off the front of your Silverado while still delivering the frontal protection the bar was designed for.
Behind it, where the serious loads are transferred back into the vehicle, we use steel for the main bullbar mounts and winch cradle.

Almost like we thought about it.
There's not much point protecting the radiator if you completely starve it of airflow.
One of the priorities when designing the Chuck Bar was maintaining airflow through the front of the vehicle rather than putting a giant slab of bullbar in front of the cooling system and hoping for the best because it looks cool!
That's why you'll notice the angled flow vents incorporated directly into the front face of the Chuck Bar.
They're not there just to make the bar look tough.
Their angled design helps direct airflow through the bullbar and towards the vehicle's cooling system, while still allowing us to maintain the strong, aggressive front profile.
Better airflow helps the vehicle's cooling system do what it was designed to do — particularly when you're towing, climbing, travelling at lower speeds or working the truck hard in Australian conditions.
Because your vehicle already has a radiator.
We figured we'd let it breathe.
Protection without unnecessarily blocking airflow.
Another one of those things that's easier to design in from the beginning than try to fix afterwards.
Supplying three integrated light bars is great.
Supplying them and then leaving you with a handful of wires and a "good luck, mate" isn't really our style.
Every Chuck Bar comes standard with an integrated centre 30" LED light bar plus two smaller LED light bars, one positioned on either side of the bullbar.
All three are incorporated cleanly into the design, giving the front of each vehicle additional lighting without covering the bar in brackets and random accessories.
But it doesn't stop here every Chuck bar comes standard with a 3-way Deutsch plug connection for the integrated light bars, providing one clean connection from the bullbar into the supplied engine bay wiring harness.
The engine bay harness includes the fuse, relay, high-beam output and trigger switch connection, giving you the important bits required to properly integrate the Chuck lighting into the vehicle.
We also include the vehicle-specific high-beam patch harness as standard, because chopping into factory wiring on a modern vehicle isn't our idea of a premium installation.
Plug it in. Wire it properly. Get on with it.
The lights weren't an afterthought.
Neither was the wiring.
Built in.
Wired in.
Ready for the rest of your setup.
All Modern American Trucks have a lot more happening behind the front bumper than a couple of bolts and some plastic.
Sensors and factory technology are part of the vehicle, so pretending they don't exist wasn't really an option.
The Chuck Bar has been designed to be compatible with all this OE Tech, helping retain the factory technology you've already paid for.
We also supply the sensor surrounds and sensor harness extension as standard, allowing the factory sensors to be properly incorporated into the bullbar installation.
No hunting around for additional bits halfway through the install or gluing parts together.
They're in the box.
Where they should be.
These aren't decorative recovery points designed to look tough in photos.
They're 7,000kg rated recovery points.
Because when your BIG American Truck is properly buried somewhere you probably shouldn't be, you want to know the recovery equipment attached to the front of it is there for more than decoration.

For when "give it another go" has officially stopped working.
The winch cradle is one area where saving a few kilos isn't the priority.
The Chuck Bar uses a steel winch cradle, integrated into the mounting structure and designed to keep the winch securely positioned when you actually need to put it to work.
We like the way all the American Truck's look, Big Grill, Big Badge.
So rather than covering the entire front end with hoops and tubes, the Chuck Bar keeps the factory grille and headlights visually open while adding protection where it's needed.
The shape follows the front end and maintains the width and stance of the truck rather than looking like somebody designed one universal bullbar and just changed the brackets.
Distinct. Deliberate.
Looks designed, because it was.
Not like a parts catalogue exploded across the front of your truck.
A wildlife strike can turn a good trip into a very expensive problem remarkably quickly.
Damage to cooling components or other critical parts of the front end isn't such a big deal when you're five minutes from home.
Five hundred kilometres from it?
Different story.
The Chuck Bar is designed to add meaningful frontal and underbody protection while giving you the recovery equipment, winch capability and additional lighting you want when you're travelling beyond the city limits.
And yes, it'll still look bloody good parked outside Woolies.
