Control the Heat. Control the Track.

A loaded Ram 3500 puts serious demands on its suspension. Add long corrugations, heavy touring equipment and Australian heat, and ordinary shocks can quickly lose damping consistency. As they overheat, the truck starts to float, wallow and become harder to control.

Outback Kitters 2.5" Remote Reservoir Shocks are engineered for sustained control under load. The finned external reservoir increases oil capacity and cooling surface area, helping manage heat and maintain consistent damping when the track keeps going.

Custom valving is developed for heavier American trucks, while the zinc-plated steel body, protective decal and rubber boot are refined to withstand harsh Australian conditions. This is the heavy-duty, long-haul step beyond a standard monotube shock.
