OVERVIEW

Long corrugations generate serious heat. As ordinary shocks overheat, damping fades. The truck begins to float, wallow and lose composure—especially when it is carrying a full touring load.

Outback Kitters 2.5" Remote Reservoir Shocks are built to manage that heat. The finned external reservoir increases oil capacity and cooling surface area, helping maintain consistent damping across long, hot and punishing roads.

Custom valving is developed for heavier American trucks, while the zinc-plated steel body, protective decal and rubber boot are refined to withstand harsh Australian conditions. This is the heavy-duty, long-haul step beyond a standard monotube shock.
